April 23, 2017 @ 7:30 am - 11:30 am

Women and Children Only
Pathways to Human Solidarity in collaboration with The Hope Center for Exceptional Needs are organizing “Planting for the Future”, which is a community service project being held under the umbrella of the Saudi Environmental Society {SENS} on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2017. It is an initiative to create awareness on benefits of sustaining natural environment and creating a better future for our children.

Planting is also a charity that we leave behind for the prosperity of future generations. We will start promptly at 7:45 am so please make sure you arrive at 7:30 am to arrange yourselves and your children. Please bring with you a picnic lunch and extra clothing for your children. Out of respect for the Saudi culture and due to the nature of this outdoor event, we ask that all female participants wear a head scarf.

– Reminds people to work together to make positive changes in the future.

Why Get Involved?

Gardening allows people to connect directly with the earth as the source of food and life upon which we are dependent. It also gives us the opportunity to reclaim unused or misused plots of land for the benefit of the community.
